In our previous blog we talked about how to prepare for examinations. We hope it was a help to you folks.
We believe that before knowing your career, you actually need to know how to choose career. So, here we go.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR CAREER AFTER +2?

This one is the most confusing state in a student’s life. Students undergo great dilemma. They are forced to be a part of the rat race. This is time Students need to introspect. They need to get themselves counseled. Not only because people are running after a certain course, it is necessary for them too to run after that.
Listed below are some factors that one must consider before choosing a particular career option (we’ve tried our level best to jot down all the necessary factors.)

1 AMBITION AND ASPIRATION

Only those can turn their dreams into reality who dare to dream. So dream, have high visions and work towards the achievement of your goals. The spark in you extinguishes once you are condemned to do something against your will. Do not be a runner of the mad race. Brace yourself to handle pressures well, don’t get carried away by what people say or think. If you are true to your aspirations, someday or the other you will achieve your goal.

2 SKILLS

Everybody is a genius. But if we judge a fish according to its ability to climb trees, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid. –Albert Einstein
Work in the field of your expertise. You are the best judge of your own self. You very well know what your forte is; brushing it up even more will make you master it. You will excel in your area of ease and comfort and there will be huge scope for you to improvise.
(Though there is no compulsion of being into your comfort zone, you can step out and try the stuffs that tempt you and create a spark in you to do it. Or if you are sure that you will be able to perform well in that particular course.)

3 MARKS

Well well well !! You cannot simply jump into any course until you fulfill the eligibility criteria.
Merit Based: If you have scored enough then well and good. You can get into good colleges and institutes.
If not then do not get disheartened. Not the college but your course and performance decide your future.
(Also do not keep on dreaming of the soaring cutoffs dropping down and matching your percentage. Your plan A has failed you still have 25 alphabets left to move on to.)
Jot down on paper all the possible things you can do with your percentage. Go for proper analysis of each of them and then choose the best.
Entrance Based: Prepare well for your entrance exams. Run your naked tongue on the pages. Make sure you crack it in a single stroke.

4 GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT

Proper guidance and support are an important requisite. Make sure you equip yourself with a proper knowledge of all the horizons open to you. There are stuffs other than education related careers also to go with. Moral support will take you to another level of success (well those who don’t have it also make history often). Make sure you take your responsibilities towards all those who acted as your backbone and your choice of career hand-in-hand.

5 DO NOT GO FOR COURSE RATHER FOR THE CAREER

Students these days are badly taken away by the flow of the wind. They will tread upon the path lead by many without discovering the new opportunities available to them. Do not just go for degrees and courses in the name of them associating a tag of prestige to you. Look for the number of jobs you will have in your hand after doing that particular course, compare the amount of money that will be required for pursuing in that field to the amount of money you will scrape by doing jobs after that. Do not get misled by the chaos of what people are filling into your ears. Any course will take precious time of your life, make sure the time you devote is worth it. In case it is not, you really need to give it a second thought.
Your reviews and suggestions will be highly acknowledged. For any further queries you can contact us. We hope that it is fruitful to you.
